SEOUL : Korean boy band SHINee member Minho has injured himself while filming variety show “Let’s Go Dream Team Season 2″ on Wednesday.
During one of the routine game segments, the singer was supposed to leap off a platform and grab a swinging pillar before landing in a pool of styrofoam balls. However, Minho lost his grip and landed awkwardly on his back very close to the wall of the pool.
According to footage posted on video-sharing site YouTube, the star appeared hurt and did not get up after the accident. He was immediately whisked away to a nearby facility for examination.
SHINee’s company said, “After the accident, he was sent to the hospital and took am X-ray. This will not have much effect on the show. We also had him undergo a CT scan.”
Minho did not suffer from any major injuries and will return to work on the set.
