Hathaway takes the pudding

PICTURE: AP

WHO: Anne Hathaway, 27

WHAT: The actress is the latest recipient of the Hasty Pudding Woman Of The Year Award at Harvard University in the US, reported AP.

She took the stage with the university’s amateur theatrical troupe, who poked fun at her career as part of the wacky annual ceremony.

The all-male cast were in drag to portray Hathaway’s former co-stars Meryl Streep and Julie Andrews, before forcing their honouree to sing, arm-wrestle and sword fight a student dressed as ‘Puff Daddy the Magic Dragon’.

Hathaway was also treated to a ride in a convertible car for a parade, but insisted she didn’t mind the freezing temperatures and snowfall.

She said: ‘Personally with my skin tone, I probably would have got a sunburn, so the weather was perfect for me!’

Underwood shows new beau her world

PICTURE: AFP

WHO: Carrie Underwood, 26

WHERE: Los Angeles

WHAT: The country singer-cum-American Idol 4 winner showed off her chic new hairdo at the recent Grammys – as well as her new fiance, Mike Fisher, 29.

The usually low-key Underwood and the Ottawa Senators ice hockey player were engaged in December and wasted no time in letting the world in on their relationship on music’s biggest night.

This is the first time the couple walked a red carpet together – Fisher like a fish out of water.

According to Us Weekly, Underwood said: ‘This is all new for him. I figured we’ll take some pictures together… ease him into my world a little bit.’

The milk’s gone bad, Kelis

WHO: Kelis, 30

WHERE: Los Angeles

WHAT: Kelis, best known for her hit single Milkshake, has been topping Worst Dressed Lists all over the world and makes Lady Gaga’s crazy outfits look almost normal.

And here’s why.

Halloween came early for the pop singer, who arrived at the 1st Annual Data Awards in a skin-tight pink latex catsuit with the notorious 10-inch Alexander McQueen Armadillo shoes, reported the Daily Mail.

Add to that Kelis’ bizarre floor-length silver braid, Statue of Liberty-inspired spiked hairpiece and long feathered eyelashes curled from her lower lids and she’s really crossed the line of good sartorial taste. Fashion police, arrest her already!
