YOU’VE ridiculed and slammed her left, right and centre. But admit it, you truly and honestly lurrrrve Zoe Tay.

LINES: Zoe Tay in The Ultimatum.

After all, there’s only a fine line between love and hate.

It would explain the unblinking fixation on her wrinkles, mercilessly blown-up and sharpened after her TV drama The Ultimatum was aired in high-definition TV in May.

And your love (okay, if you must, hatred) has manifested itself into yet another win for Zoe at The New Paper’s Flame Awards.

The Ah Jie of Caldecott, who turns 42 next month, beat Miss Singapore Universe Rachel Kum and actress Felicia Chin to win Feature Of The Year.

She received 65 votes, while Rachel’s enhanced bust pulled in 47 votes and Felicia’s reportedly altered face got 29 votes.

This is Zoe’s 11th Flame Awards win since The New Paper started flaming celebs in 1995, having been ‘honoured’ in myriad categories like Babe Of The Year, Fiasco Of The Year, Si Beh Suay Award, Turn-off Of The Year and Booby Award.

So there’s no denying that she still holds court in showbiz, whether it’s good or bad news.

But despite our long history with Zoe, it appears she is starting to feel the heat.

Her manager turned down our request to present the award to her, citing her long filming hours.

With her good friend, celebrity hairstylist David Gan, out of the country, we asked another of Zoe’s pals, aesthetics doctor Georgia Lee, to accept the award on her behalf.

Beauty tips

And you know, give some beauty tips to all women on how how to fight those dastardly lines along the way.

Dr Lee, however, turned us down because she respects Zoe’s request that she ‘not participate in this event’.

Oh dear, have we been too harsh on the Queen?

We suppose she really wants to lay the whole thing to rest. Not like the ‘feature’ in question is something to boast about right?

Okay fine, we’ll give it a break, Zoe.

But only after we hand you the award on Monday at the Ren Ci Charity Show press conference you’re attending, can?
