CALLING all Twi-Hards and anyone who’s been waiting for the return of the world’s most gorgeous vampire.

It’s that time of the year when teenage girls – and some women – swoon over Robert Pattinson and his alter-ego, Edward Cullen.

Yes, part two of the Twilight saga, New Moon, is upon us. And there’s a new hunk in town.

A lot has been said about how actor Taylor Lautner, 17, bulked up to play werewolf Jacob Black, and one has to see it to believe it.

Even co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays heroine Bella Swan in the series, was stunned by Lautner’s transformation.

Pattinson admitted: ‘When I first saw Taylor’s upper body, it made me think I need to head to the gym!

‘It seems that… having six-pack abs is a pre-requisite for any actor (in) a young people movie nowadays.

‘And so when you see Taylor fulfilling every criteria that teenage girls want physically out of a guy, you do feel genuinely inadequate.’

Lautner was quick to dismiss the praise heaped upon him.

He said: ‘The only reason I did it is because the character required it.

‘So… if I fall in love with a character that requires me to lose 40 pounds, then I’m ready to do it.’
