Gutsy lady: Rani Mukherjee.

HER on-screen persona is that of a forceful gutsy lady. Actor Rani Mukherjee proved that she was made of sterner stuff in real life too. During Mumbai’s recent floods, she decided to play team leader and keep her unit members safe. “Many of them were getting impatient and wanted to try and leave for home. That’s when I decided to play team leader and urged them to wait till the morning and then we could see,” said Mukherjee. Though it was a traumatic time Mukherjee is relieved that at least some of the crew were on safe ground. Atta girl! That’s the spirit.
